The mission of Change of Pace Bible Study is to:
WIN women to Jesus Christ, BUILD them into mature believers, & SEND them out to tell others
Women's Bible studies are offered beginning in September and in January. A variety of options are presented each session including DVD lessons and small group discussions. For what's happening now, check out our "Current Studies" tab. Childcare and homeschool monitoring are also provided.
Change of Pace Bible Studies was founded in 1976 by Dona Fisher of the Friendship Foundation. Her heart for women to know God, led her to organize this non-denominational women's Bible study. The first study was held at the Indian Springs Country Club in Landisville, PA, where 15 women - no two from the same church - responded to her ad in the newspaper. Now more than 30 years later, Change of Pace Central meets at the Lancaster Alliance Church with more than 100 women in attendance. A daughter study has also been founded in New Providence, PA. For more information go to http://www.friendshipfoundation.org/.
We meet at two times.
There is a session on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm for women who work or cannot attend in the morning.
On Thursday mornings our schedule includes refreshments beginning at 9:15, a time of worship at 9:30, and study groups until 11:30.
Women of all ages and all faiths are welcome. Whether you are a beginner in matters of faith or a seasoned Christian, you will be welcomed and encouraged in your faith.
